This class is offered to answer expectant parents' questions regarding delivering at Altru Hospital Family Birthing Center for the first time. (NOT for first time parents, please sign up for Childbirth Preparation class instead if this is your first pregnancy).

This class is designed to review options for laboring and provide education on preparation for delivery at Altru Hospital. With education, you can feel more secure and prepared for one of the most memorable events of your life. The following topics will be covered:

» Typical hospital routine in labor & delivery
» Positions for laboring
» Question and answer time

Family Birthing Center tour will be offered during this class!

Delivering at Altru is held every other month on a Tuesday from 4:45pm - 6p.m. Altru Hospital Room A on the following dates:

Registration is required. You are allowed to have one support person accompany you to class. It is suggested that you register 2 - 3 months in advance as classes do fill up quickly.
